How to Download and Install BCE 2003 from the Web

1) Download all 9 disks onto a computer in a download directory.  When you click on each disk, your browser will askn where you would like to download it.

For Example:  On Internet Explorer, when you click on the file to download you will get this box:

dl.GIF (10018 bytes)

You will choose Save this program to disk.  Then you will get a box where you specify a directory to put the files into:

dl2.GIF (6406 bytes)

2) After you've downloaded all disks to that directory, you will go to My Computer, choose the drive letter that you downloaded these files to (usually c:) then choose the directory that you put all 9 disks into.

3) Click on the first disk (DISK1.EXE).  If you want to put it onto Floppies, then insert a blank floppy disk into your disk drive.  You will see a box on the screen after you run DISK1.EXE that looks like this:

selext.GIF (5366 bytes)

4) Where it says Unzip To Folder, type A:\ to extract the file onto a floppy, or type a directory on your C:\ drive to extract all files to.  It will default to C:\BCESETUP.

5) Do this for all 9 disks.

6) Once all disks have been extracted, go to the C:\BCESETUP folder and run the Setup.exe file.  If you extracted to disks, then put disk 1 into the floppy drive and run Setup.exe from there.
