Testing a Cash Drawer that is connected to the serial port

1) Check to see which COM port your cash drawer is attached to.

2) Go to the MS-DOS prompt.

3) If your drawer is connected to COM1, then type:
	copy con com1:
	
4) Then press CTRL-G and hit the enter key

5) Then press CTRL-Z and hit the enter key.  Your drawer should pop open.
