| 1) From the Invoice Screen, click on
Options then "Setup" then "Quick Books Setup". |

| 2) In the Quick Books Interface Setup Window,
fill in the information as it pertains to your company. Descriptions of the fields are
below. After you have filled out all the fields, click the "Update"
button. |

Quick Books Directory: This is the path
where your Quick Books files are located. Consult your Quick Books manual for this
information.
Customer Name: This will be the name of the customer that will appear in Quick
Books.
Undeposited Funds Account Name: This is the name of the account and sub account
that will represent your CRE Undeposited funds. The format is "Main:Sub".
Sales Income Account Name: This is the name of the account and sub account for your
sales income from CRE. The format is "Main:Sub".
Sales Tax Agency Name: This is the name of the Sales Tax Agency for TAX 1.
Sales Tax Agency Account Name: This is the account and sub account for Sales Tax 1
collected from CRE. The format is "Main:Sub".
Sales Tax 2 Agency Name: This is the name of the Sales Tax Agency for TAX 2.
Sales Tax 2 Agency Account Name: This is the account and sub account for Sales Tax
2 collected from CRE. The format is "Main:Sub".
Sales Tax 3 Agency Name: This is the name of the Sales Tax Agency for TAX 3.
Sales Tax 3 Agency Account Name: This is the account and sub account for Sales Tax
3 collected from CRE. The format is "Main:Sub". |

| 3) After the information has been filled in,
click on Tools (in the Options button screen) then click on "Quick Books Sales
Pass". |

| 4) In the QB Sales Pass screen, enter the
Start and End Date for the period of time that you would like sales information passed to
Quickbooks, then click the "Select" button. Next click the "Create Quick
Books File". |

| 5) In the "History" grid, the files
that you just created will appear. These will be the files that you will import into Quick
Books. |

| 6) Now you will
have to go to Quickbooks to import all the ,iif files that were created by
Cash Register Express. They are located in the c:\cre2000 folder (or
whichever the CRE working folder is) .
